PLACE YOUR VOTE FOR CAPTAIN HERE
Hey everyone! My name is Campbell Harris, and I would love to be your captain for the 2021-2022 season. This year would be my fourth year on the team, and it is my goal to make it the best year yet! Since I have been on the team for a while, I have learned the ins and outs of what makes a great leader and how to have a successful season. I did competitive cheer for five years, so I have a lot of experience in every element that goes into making a routine. I would use my I knowledge to create amazing stunts, pyramids, dances, and formations. I think I would do a great job of highlighting everyone’s strengths to make great performances. To be a good captain also means listening to everyone on the team, so I want to make sure that your ideas are heard and included in our routines. I will be super dedicated and put my all into being captain because I love cheer so much and I want to watch our team grow! I can’t wait for the upcoming season and I will work my hardest to make sure this year is amazing! GO LIONS!
Hello St. Mark’s Cheerleaders! If you don’t know me, my name is Sarah H. Roberts, and I am running for captain for this coming season. Not to brag, but my cheer resumé is very stacked: in third grade, I got best jumps in my Powerhouse Dance cheer class, and at cheer camp freshman AND sophomore year, I earned ‘Sharpest Movements’. My exceptional talent aside, after spending three very interesting years on the squad, including a tornado, pandemic, and lots of Kona Ice, I want nothing more than to serve as y’all’s captain for the 2021-2022 season. I’m organized, loud, hardworking, and most importantly, I love this team. No matter what happens, I’m so excited for this year—GO LIONS!!
Hi everyone! My name is Megan Vettoretti, and I am so excited to cheer with y’all this season, and of course, I would love to be one of your captains! I have been on the team since freshmen year and have cheered competitively for five years. From my experience on these teams, I have learned helpful communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. I have also learned various jumping, dancing, tumbling, and stunting skills that I would love to incorporate into our routines. As your captain, I would make sure to listen to any ideas you have and work to include them throughout the year. I have been dreaming up ideas for our team for the past 3 years that include eye-catching stunts, unique dances, exciting transitions, and performing for Hockaday again. With my great passion for this sport, I will work extremely hard to make our team the best we can be and make sure everyone has a super fun and amazing experience. I am so excited to be a part of this incredible team for another year and to see what we will do! Go Lions!!
Hey team!!! I'm Lea and I'd be so excited to be one of your cheer captains this coming season. This is my fourth year on the squad, and I've loved every minute of it. Fun fact, my dad joined the team his senior year at St. Marks to hang out with girls, so SM Cheer basically runs in my blood. Even when I first made the team Freshman year, I always hoped to eventually be captain, so I have paid close attention over the years at how past captains have led the team. I've seen what works and I have some great new ideas as well. I have many years of experience dancing and choreographing, so I believe I can make exciting and new dances that will wow the crowds at pep rallies and games. I remember when I was an underclassman and felt like my voice on the team was less important, so I want to make sure everyone has the ability to share their great ideas. This squad means so much to me, and I hope you will consider voting for me as your captain. Let's have a great year!! Go lions!
Hey y’all! My name is Abigail, and I would love to be one of your SM Cheer captains this next year! After participating on the team since freshman year, when it comes to leading the team, I have seen all of the ups and downs. I believe that these experiences will not only allow me to lead the team to the best of my abilities but also create strong bonds between each of us. I have seen from experience how much hard work pays off so I am going to work really hard on creating new and creative stunts, fun dances, and awesome pep rally themes that the crowd will love! After dancing for fourteen years, I have learned patience, communication skills, and have even had experience choreographing dances which I know is a key skill when it comes to being captain. Being on this team has created memories that I will cherish forever, and I hope that this next year I can help to create some great memories for y’all by being one of your captains! Go Lions!!
